#11 Truth In Sixty Seconds. Coronavirus, Worship and Pray This Weekend, and Christ’s Promise To His People

Truth In Sixty Seconds

Hello I am Matthew, and this is Truth For The Times, in 60 Seconds.

Many churches have joined the movement to protect people from the coronavirus and closed their doors and instead opened the doors of virtual worship. Online services are popping up everywhere this weekend replacing normal gatherings.

Franklin Graham has issued this request, “Our President has called for tomorrow, Sunday, March 15, to be a National Day of Prayer. I hope every church, regardless of denomination, and every individual, regardless of political affiliation, will pray and seek the Lord as our nation faces this crisis.”

If you church has closed, gather with your family and friends and continue to worship this weekend in your home, pray together for our nation, and trust the Lord Jesus Christ for His promises. If you are serious about your faith listen to online sermons and teaching, have Bible studies with family and friends, and find music to sing together and worship the Lord. Don’t forget to support your church and give online, or send a check to them with your weekly donation.

Jesus promised us in John 14:27  “I am leaving you with a gift, peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
