#16 Truth In Sixty Seconds. Thanksgiving is Important!

Hello I am Matthew, and this is Truth For The Times, in 60 Seconds.

God commands in Deuteronomy 6:5-7, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

We cannot rely upon the church or government to tell the truth about God’s ways and our godly heritage. Each of us is responsible before God to pass on the importance of following the Lord Jesus Christ and the godly heritage given to us by the founding fathers of this nation. We are told to teach our children, including our grandchildren, all day long, the truth, while at home, traveling, before we sleep, and when we get up in the morning. Focus and diligence to this task is demanded by God. If we do not fill them with truth, no one else will, and they will suffer the consequences of a godless life and nation.

Fill your Thanksgiving Day with fun, stories, movies, games and songs about our heritage and they will grow to love God.
