3. Truth in Sixty Seconds. President Trump Begins To See God At Work, Coronavirus Update, and a New Pew Survey

Hello I am Matthew, and this is Truth, in 60 Seconds. President Trump spoke at the American Conservative Union CPAC 2020 Saturday, and promised, “The Best Is Yet To Come.” The Guardian reported that while addressing the audience, our president mentioned it being “sort of a miracle” that he has accomplished so much despite all he’s endured. “Maybe it’s right there, right?” he asked, pointing upwards. “Thank you, God!”

Next, responding to the Coronavirus scare, physician David Drew Pinsky, known as Dr. Drew stated, “The press needs to shut up because you’re more likely to die of influenza right now… Let me frame it this way: we have in the United States 24 million cases of flu-like illness, 180,000 hospitalizations, 16,000 dead from influenza. Why is that not being reported? Why isn’t the message: get your flu shot?”

One last thing, a Pew Survey reveals the the Democratic Party Has A God Problem. Pew found that 31 percent of all U.S. adults believe that the Democrat Party is actually unfriendly to religion, while only 13 percent said the same of the Republican Party.

So with all the scary things that happen in our world, let’s remember Psalm 112:6-7, “Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.”
