O’Reilly explains the numbers behind a recent analysis he did on union inefficiency, arguing they cause government to spend FAR more per pupil than Catholic schools spend. He says the future of teachers’ unions should NOT be a political issue: “This is about kids not being taught in school how to negotiate themselves through life.” So, what’s O’Reilly’s solution for teachers in Chicago refusing to return to school? “FIRE THEM!”
