On today’s Watchman Newscast. host Erick Stakelbeck breaks down news that a team of archaeologists has discovered the oldest piece of writing ever found in Israel–dating back some 3,500 years. The inscription was found on an ancient pottery shard at Tel Lachish, an archaeological site in south central Israel. Experts believe it may provide a missing link to the ancient alphabet in the region.
