EU vaccine standoff is ‘huge proof’ Brexit was right move | Sky News Australia

The European Union’s “sclerotic” struggles with the vaccine rollout is proof Brexit was the right move for the United Kingdom.

Sky News host James Morrow said the EU’s slow vaccine rollout and the internal divisions within the bloc is almost a “big win for Brexit”.

Britain has so far vaccinated nearly 10 per cent of its population whereas the EU’s rollout of the vaccine is staggered and may delay the rollout in other countries across the globe.

Mr Morrow said this is not only a “big win” for Brexit, but it also highlights how the EU is a “sclerotic organisation” which finds it impossible to respond to the needs of its citizens.
