Richard Stengel recently was named by the Joe Biden transition team as ‘Team Lead’ for the ‘US Agency for Global Media,’ the NY Post reports. Stengel said in 2018 that while serving the Obama administration State Department, he was referred to as the ‘chief propagandist.’ He said, ‘I’m not against propaganda. Every country does it, and they have to do it to their own population. And I don’t necessarily think it’s that awful.’ But it gets worse…in this clip, Glenn explains Stengel’s ever-changing opinion on the First Amendment, too.
