Ashley Hales had a passion to do big things for God, and felt like that was more possible within urban-like environments. When her family moved to the suburbs for a church plant, it felt anticlimactic, like they were moving to the middle of nowhere. But Ashley discovered a new mission field, because there are hurting people anywhere we live. She and her family began building a sense of community around them. In a place where it’s easier to stay comfortable, they sought discomfort. In this interview, Ashley will encourage families who are living in suburbia to be bold in their faith and to live missionally for Christ.
