Glenn: Future Americans will learn and correct these mistakes

 

Thomas Jefferson had faith in the American people, arguing that even when they get it wrong, those wrongs set them on a path to realizing their mistakes and eventually correcting course. Glenn says that today is no different. Some Americans made a mistake this election — voting for a team that supports socialist policies likely to put the freedoms we cherish most in danger. But Americans WILL do the right thing — even if, as Winston Churchill said — they must exhaust every other option first. And today is no different. So, in the words of political scientists Dr. Orville Watts: “The night is far spent, the day is at hand, let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light.”
