Most of the near-death experiences we hear about are positive, but studies suggest somewhere between 5% and 20% of near-death experiences are hellish. In this episode, I sit down with author Brian Melvin, who claims he had exactly that kind of experience in 1980. He was a militant atheist at the time, hospitalized with cholera, who says he died, met Jesus, and was then sent into what he believes was hell before being brought back.
