It’s time for free-market capitalism to reclaim its legacy as a creator of prosperity — not just for citizens of the Western world, but for people everywhere. It’s not capitalism that has to justify itself; it’s everything else. Why? Because everything else has resulted only in poverty. Does that surprise you? Are you skeptical?
If you pay attention to the Old Testament you will find thousands of years ago God establish the ancient nation of Israel and gave them freedom. Freedom to own their own land, create their own business, and sell their own goods. The free market economy God taught them offered, made them a strong nation. They were offered in Deuteronomy 28:13 (NLT2), “If you listen to these commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.” But if they refused, “The foreigners living among you will become stronger and stronger, while you become weaker and weaker. They will lend money to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, and you will be the tail!” Deuteronomy 28:43-44 (NLT2)
