Dr. Voddie Baucham, Dean of Theology at African Christian University, recently made waves when his sermon titled “Ethnic Gnosticism” resurfaced online. He argues to Glenn that today’s social justice, anti-racism movements are steeped in Marxist critical theory and aim to redistribute justice to certain societal groups…with no consideration for individual man. He says the left’s narrative that black Americans are the most oppressed black people in the world is far from true — in fact, they’re the freest and most prosperous. But Dr. Bauchman tells Glenn he refuses to lay down his bible for ideologies that undermine the message of God. He doesn’t worry about potential smear campaigns from the mob, because before God, his conscience is clear.
