Allie Beth Stuckey: Today we’re talking to Costi Hinn, a pastor and the founder of For the Gospel Ministry, about a variety of topics related to prosperity gospel. Costi tells his own story of coming from believing prosperity gospel to his now more biblical views. We discuss what’s wrong with the prosperity gospel, from untouchable faith leaders to churchgoers locked into their “name it and claim it” mantras. Costi has written a book, “More Than a Healer,” in which he tries to help people gain a more complete picture of Jesus and which seeks to get people to understand what biblical justice is, even if the truth is difficult to hear.
