Pastor James Coates of GraceLife Church in Alberta, Canada was jailed earlier this month for ‘breaching public health measures.’ He continued to keep his church doors open for all, despite COVID lockdown regulations demanding churches adhere to certain capacity, mask, and social distancing standards. His lawyer, James Kitchen, tells Glenn why he believes his client’s outcome may have differed if more stood against the government’s lockdown restrictions: “We have a lot of the people disagreeing with it quietly,” he says.
