California has the highest income tax rate in the country at 14.4%, they have the highest sales tax in the country at 7.25%, they also charge a gas tax (the highest gas tax out of any other state) at 78 cents a gallon, not to mention all the other local sales taxes. Well now they’re going one step further, another tax, that’s tracked automatically through your car, integrated directly to the state.
