#9 Truth In Sixty Seconds. Updates on the Coronavirus, and Trust God’s Wisdom.

Hello I am Matthew, and this is Truth For The Times, in 60 Seconds.

Today’s news is filled with coronavirus reports. First, President Trump has banned all travel from Europe for 30 days to protect Americans. Testing has been increased to quickly catch those exposed. Since, COVID-19 has a 1% death rate with the elderly and those with chronic illnesses, more measures are being taken to slow down exposure to the virus.

The NBA has cancelled their season because a player tested positive. Many public events are cancelled, colleges are closing, and the public is asked to keep their distance from others at stores and other public places. Even a congressional staffer has tested positive.

So, remember to be wise and wash your hands often, clean your surfaces in your home, disinfect everything you can, and slow down your public activity to protect yourself from the spread of the disease, greet others without handshakes, and do not stop living, out of fear.

But most of all, remember to trust the ways of the Lord Your God who protected His people with quarantine laws. “Command the people of Israel to remove from the camp anyone who has a skin disease or a discharge, or who has become ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person.” Numbers 5:2
