Behavioral scientist Gad Saad tells Glenn he engages “in the battle of ideas” because America is still within the window that allows for us to debate peacefully. But, he says, if we lose the ability to pit ideas against others without violence, then we may soon experience a repeat of the society from which he fled: the Lebanese Civil War. Saad says he prays daily our nation does not succumb to the same fate, but in the meantime, he has some tips for how frustrated Americans can learn how to have peaceful discourse with those across the aisle.
