Ancient Biblical Archaeology Site DEFILED by Palestinian Authority | Watchman Newscast

On today’s Watchman Newscast, host Erick Stakelbeck breaks down news that the ancient site that many believe is Joshua’s Altar was damaged this week by the Palestinian Authority. The Book of Joshua describes how Moses commanded Joshua and the Israelites to build an altar to the Lord upon crossing over the Jordan River and entering the Promised Land. The site sits atop the Biblical Mount Ebal in israel’s Samaria region. This week, Palestinians doing road work for the Palestinian Authority reportedly damaged the altar’s exterior wall, took ancient stones from the site and even ground some of them into gravel. This act was no accident and is part of a larger Palestinian Authority campaign to erase the ancient Jewish presence from important Biblical locations. #Israel​ #Bible​ # #Archaeology​
