
‘Exception’ to 4th Amendment may allow for searches of your home WITHOUT warrant | Glenn Beck

The Supreme Court announced recently plans to hear arguments on a case regarding the 4th Amendment next month. The 4th Amendment — which requires police or government officials to obtain a warrant from a judge before entering and searching a home — actually has a few exceptions to it, including the ‘community care-taking exception.’ The exception first originated due to police searching an abandoned car, but its powers may soon be expansed. Glenn explains what this exception means, and how, depending what SCOTUS decides, it soon could also apply to your HOME as well.
