Forgotten History | David Barton | LWCC

“When history is taught accurately, we learn the good, the bad, and the ugly.” –David Barton Society has done a good job at reminding America about its past failures and current problems. What we haven’t heard, however, is what America has done right. This past weekend, guest speaker David Barton shed light on a different perspective of America. He shared the history behind the phrase American exceptionalism, why America is different from other countries, and a long list of the forgotten people who have impacted America, which includes plenty of preachers, a double spy, and many amazing African-American heroes! America is a blessed country… and after this weekend’s message, we have been reminded of a few reasons why.
