On Monday, during a press conference, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said religious institutions have “been a problem” throughout the pandemic. He said he’s considering “closing the synagogues” if they don’t stop mass gatherings. Glenn says moves like this from the government show that religions will continue to face attack; the days of practicing religion comfortably are “quickly coming to an end.” And as the world continues to change, Glenn says that the proving grounds are ahead.
