The systems for live organ harvesting in China have been exposed, where authorities have created a murder-for-profit system targeting religious and political dissidents. This practice has been exposed internationally, including more recently by a UK tribunal, but has only received a small amount of exposure by major news outlets. We’ll have a look at why this may be.
And as China comes under the global spotlight, its various human rights abuses are also coming into focus. Its practices of forced labor, authoritarian social controls, use of torture to extract criminal admissions, and other practices are being widely exposed. What will happen when the world broadly condemns these practices?
