Over 100 boats went out onto Lake Winnebago in the city of Oshkosh in support of Donald Trump, marking what appears to be a new tradition on the President’s election campaign.

The tradition was believed to have originated in Florida but was taken up in the Midwest, which was a critical battleground for Donald Trump.

The event was organised on Facebook by local Republican party groups and similar events were held across the United States over the Labor Day weekend.
