One thing we know—the models and predictions for this pandemic were all wrong. We were told there would be up to 2 million in the US who would die. Our hospitals would be overrun and suffer a serious shortage of equipment, and the impact of the virus would be unlike anything the world had ever seen. As we start to reopen the world, I hope we realize that we should never again let the government strip us of our liberties and our common sense in the name of “protecting us.”
