The United States has revoked the visas of more than 1,000 Chinese nationals over their alleged links to the Chinese military. Over 60 students holding F-1 visas including postgraduates and undergraduates said in a WeChat group that the notices said they’d have to apply for new visas if they wanted to travel to the United States. Meanwhile, Europe appears to be waking up to the threats of Chinese subversion. The Chinese Communist Party’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, and Politburo Member Yang Jiechi recently visited Europe on a diplomatic tour. But instead of being welcomed, they were criticized by European countries one after another. And the Pentagon views China’s militarized space programs as a serious threat to the United States.
